The Zonal Director, National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, South West Zone, Mr Stephen Adewale has called on sisters Agencies for their collaboration in order to achieve a lot of feat in Disaster Management.
The Zonal Director made this known on Thursday during a courtesy Visit to the office of Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Chief Mrs Monisade Afuye in Ado-Ekiti.
In his remarks, the Zonal Director appreciated the Director General, NEMA Mustapha Habib Ahmed for his visionary leadership in creating the new structure of Zonal Directorate in NEMA in order to minimize response time to Disaster in Nigeria.
He also appreciated Ekiti SEMA and Office of the Deputy Governor for the robust collaboration with NEMA to tackle Disasters in Ekiti.
He ,therefore called that the collaboration between NEMA and relevant Agencies needs to be sustained in order to achieve a lot of feat in Disaster Management.
In her response, the Deputy Governor thanked NEMA for the usual cooperation and noted that with the creation of the Zonal Directorate, time of response would be drastically reduced
The Zonal Director was accompanied by the Head of Ekiti Operations Office, Dr Kofoworola Soleye and other staff of the Ekiti Operations Office .
