As Nigeria celebrates Children’s Day, Mr. Anifowose Sunday, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Federal Teachers, has called on parents and guardians to prioritize the well-being, education, and character development of their children.
In a statement, Mr. Anifowose emphasized the importance of instilling cultural values, moral principles, and social norms in children to position them for success in an increasingly complex world. He also urged parents to support the Ekiti State government’s initiatives aimed at securing the future of Ekiti children and equipping them to meet global standards.
“The role of parents and educators is crucial in shaping the lives of our children,” Mr. Anifowose said. “Let us collaborate to provide a nurturing environment that fosters their growth, creativity, and excellence. Together, we can build a brighter future for Ekiti State and Nigeria as a whole.”
Mr. Anifowose commended the efforts of His Excellency, Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO), the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, in promoting the welfare and development of Ekiti children. He encouraged parents to support the governor’s programs and activities aimed at securing the future of Ekiti children and positioning them to meet global standards.
